Chemo Brain
Chemo brain, also known as “chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment”, refers to a range of cognitive difficulties cancer patients often experience during and after chemotherapy treatment. Symptoms can include problems with memory, attention, and processing speed, making it harder to concentrate or recall things. While the medical community hasn’t nailed down a direct cause, it’s believed to come from a combination of factors, including the effects of chemotherapy, mental stress, and fatigue.
