Pancreatic cancer doesn’t discriminate, and Canada’s healthcare system shouldn’t either.

As a family, we know families from smaller provinces hit barriers at every turn, from accessing crucial tools like somatic testing to joining clinical trials that improve outcomes.

Join Team Heather: Be Part of a Movement for Change

In the coming months, we’ll be looking nationwide for passionate individuals ready to join Team Heather and drive change in pancreatic cancer care through powerful advocacy and community action.

The original Team Heather of Kicking PancreAS. Now, we're looking nationwide for people who are ready to speak up.
This may be the OG Team Heather, but we're expanding and always looking for team members to be a part of the coming change!

Inspired by Heather, Driven by Purpose

Are you passionate about making a difference? Does the thought of directly contacting members of parliament, organizing public rallies, or creating powerful advocacy messages sound like something you’d love to be part of? Team Heather is preparing to expand into a network of committed advocates just like you, ready to make a lasting impact.

Our journey began with Heather Cutler—a dedicated nurse, mother, and fighter who inspired us all. Her story showed us the power of advocacy and the strength it takes to bring critical issues into the public eye. Through her resilience, we’re motivated to build a future where every Canadian battling pancreatic cancer has the care and support they deserve. In Heather’s memory, The Heather Cutler Foundation was born, and we've been making noise every day since then.

Rewriting the Playbook on Advocacy

The Heather Cutler Foundation is rewriting the playbook on advocacy, blending powerful personal stories with a focused commitment to policy change. We’re not only raising awareness but building a movement that drives real action and lasting reform. Soon, Team Heather will be officially launching volunteer opportunities, expanding beyond our core group of family and friends who fundraised for pancreatic cancer research through events like #KickingPancreAS by Craig’s Cause. We’ll soon be reaching out to people across Canada who share our vision for change, and we’d love for you to be part of it when the time comes.
