In this vital role, you’ll be the main point of contact for new and returning volunteers, ensuring every person who joins Team Heather feels welcomed, informed, and empowered. You'll help foster a positive, inclusive environment and build internal systems to track onboarding, engagement, and project participation.

Why Join Us?

The Heather Cutler Foundation was founded from lived experience — and our volunteers are at the core of everything we do. We’re a rapidly growing nonprofit, operating with urgency and clarity to address the gaping holes in Canada’s cancer care system, especially for people in smaller provinces.

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll shape the culture and systems that help people from all backgrounds contribute their time and skills to something bigger than themselves. Your work will directly impact how we grow and how we continue to center compassion and equity in everything we do.

Founded in memory of Heather Cutler — a dedicated nurse — the Foundation works to close gaps in care, expand access to innovation, and ensure no one is left behind because of where they live.

From petitioning Parliament to expanding clinical trials outside of urban hubs, our movement is people-powered — and we need your help to coordinate them.
