Pancreatic cancer doesn’t discriminate, and Canada’s healthcare system shouldn’t either.

As a family, we know families from smaller provinces hit barriers at every turn, from accessing crucial tools like somatic testing to joining clinical trials that improve outcomes.

Company Description

The Heather Cutler Foundation is a non-profit organization redefining pancreatic cancer advocacy across Canada.

Founded in memory of Heather Cutler, a registered nurse, our foundation is here to confront the healthcare gaps, stand by patients, and drive real change—especially for those in underserved regions.

We’re sounding the alarm on barriers that keep Canada’s survival rates stagnant and, more urgently, compromise the outcomes of Canadians in smaller provinces.

From promoting the life-saving potential of molecular profiling to pushing for clinical trials beyond Canada’s ‘urban’ hubs, we are fighting for a future where every Canadian has access to the most advanced treatments, the chance to join a clinical trial no matter their postal code, and a transparent, accountable drug approval process.
