St. John’s, NL — The Heather Cutler Foundation is proud to announce that it has officially joined the Cancer Action Now Alliance, a national coalition working to improve cancer care across Canada through coordinated advocacy, collaboration, and system-wide reform.
Cancer Action Now brings together leading patient organizations, research advocates, and healthcare professionals committed to faster, more equitable access to life-saving cancer care. As a new alliance member, The Heather Cutler Foundation joins voices across the country demanding stronger national standards, better access to advanced treatments and clinical trials, and more meaningful inclusion of patient experiences in policy decisions.

Joining Cancer Action Now gives us the national platform and collaborative strength needed to push for the change Canadians living with pancreatic cancer deserve.”
Founded in honour of Heather Cutler, the Foundation has become a rising voice in national efforts to confront the realities of pancreatic cancer. From organizing the first federal parliamentary petition focused solely on pancreatic cancer, to launching a national student-led policy development program, to building networks of civic action across Atlantic Canada, the Foundation centers urgency, innovation, and public accountability in its approach.
As part of this new partnership, The Heather Cutler Foundation has invited Cancer Action Now to speak as a featured guest in the Stakeholder Speaker Series—a key component of its Pancreatic Cancer Policy Builders of Tomorrow program. The Foundation will also be profiled in an upcoming social media spotlight on Cancer Action Now’s national channels.
